emery Heights/brightwood properties RFP
The District of Columbia, through the Office of the Deputy Mayor for Planning and Economic Development (DMPED), is seeking proposals for the redevelopment of the Emery Heights/Brightwood Properties. The RFP covers Parcel 00870005 and Square 2937, Lots 809, 840, 841, 842, 843, and 848—seven lots totaling approximately 35,868 square feet between 5760–5812 Georgia Avenue NW.
Located in the Sixteenth Street Heights neighborhood and zoned MU‑7, the Site includes a historic firehouse, an outbuilding, surface parking, vacant retail storefronts, and a former carwash lot. Respondents must research title and incorporate all findings into their proposed development program for an “as‑is” conveyance of the Site.

Saint Elizabeths East - Parcel 1RFP
The District of Columbia, through the Office of the Deputy Mayor for Planning and Economic Development (DMPED), is seeking proposals for the redevelopment of 2724 ½ Martin Luther King Jr. Avenue SE (Parcel 1) on the St. Elizabeths East Campus in Ward 8.
St. Elizabeths East is a historic, 183‑acre campus in Congress Heights and one of the District’s last major redevelopment opportunities. Parcel 1, located at Martin Luther King Jr. Avenue SE and Magnolia Street SE, offers a prominent site to advance the broader St. Elizabeths East vision and strengthen connections between the campus and surrounding neighborhood amenities.
Proposals should reflect the parcel’s importance to the community and support the continued transformation of St. Elizabeths East.

Chevy chase civic site RFP (CLOSED)
Request for Proposals (RFP) issued on January 17, 2024, for the redevelopment of the Chevy Chase Civic Site located at 5601 and 5625 Connecticut Avenue, NW, Washington, DC. The site is currently improved with the Chevy Chase Neighborhood Library and the Chevy Chase Community Center. Proposals to redevelop the site must include housing and the replacement of the library and community center.
